This photographic project was born during the pandemic summer of 2020, the year in which COVID-19 came to disrupt our way of life.
In Transit it emerged as a product of chance and accident, like the virus.
The first summer days I spent photographing my son underwater, in the pool of the building where I live in Madrid, with a small water camera. After reviewing the resulting images in the computer's light box, everything changed and, guided by a revealing inertia, those initial photos, idyllic and bluish, were turned upside down to become monochromatic and disturbing photos, full of questions that led me to continue portraying different people in that time capsule; an enormous placenta, where the solitary body of the portrayed seemed to be in a kind of parenthesis, a transit towards a new reality?
